Paris is really the most obvious choice if you are looking for an action packed holiday in France. From the Eiffel Tower to the Louvre Museum there are many well known landmarks to visit. There are also many places most people haven't heard of, such as the Jardin des Tuileries. Standing near the Louvre this 63 acre garden is truly a sight not to be missed.
Nice is famous for its Promenade of the English or Promenade des Anglais. It is a celebrated walk near the Baies des Anges, part of the Mediterranean. There is also another huge municipal garden in Nice that is not to be missed known as the Jardin botanique de Nice. Also ask around about the Pedestrian Zone, a huge area of squares where cars are banned.
Biarritz has many museums of note, such as the Asiatica Museum. There is also the Museum of the Sea, which houses some beautiful aquariums. If you're a chocolate lover, you're in luck, there is a Museum of Chocolate waiting to show you how this sweet is made. If you are a Surfer, or even enjoy watching the sport, Biarritz is a must stop for a Holiday as it's the surfing capital of France.
Cannes is notable for its Film Festival, its amazing architecture, and the beautiful views. There are many clubs and theatres, such as the Palais Night Club, so entertainment won't be hard to find. If you or a member of your party are technology buffs, be sure to go a little ways North to check out Sophia Antipolis. It's a huge technology park, and definitely worth the trip.
Reims is an amazing architectural trip back into the past. The Notre-Dame de Reims is beautiful, and many recognize it from movies and pictures they have seen. The Basilica St. Remi, Church of St. Jacques, Palace of Tau, and the Town hall are all excellent examples of French Architecture as well. Reims has the headquarters of many of the world's finest champagne companies as well. Be sure to try to schedule tasting visits, as some of these places offer some amazing products.
